For The Week Of February 5

 

The Story--reading plan for this week is Chapter Fifteen.  If you have not picked up a book there are some by the Sound Board

 

Help Needed:  Need help on Wednesday morning’s for a babysitter for the Women's Bible Study.  If you are interested you can contact Jody Brown or mark the tear off card.

 

Work Day at the Parsonage Basement:  Saturday, February 11th starting at 9:00 am.  Colin Brown will be leading a work day for the parsonage basement.  We will be fixing up the basement for the overflow use for our Children’s Ministry as we are growing and need more space.

 

Sunday, March 11: “Celebrating Your Uniqueness”  

Ages 12 and up are invited to stay after church for an exciting adventure of understanding how God created you.  The class will last about 6 hours.  We will eat lunch together.  Cost is $10 per person for materials.

SUPER BOWL PARTY Today:  Instead of us hosting a party at the Fifth Corner, we want to encourage you to have a couple of families from the church that you want to get to know better over for the game or if there is someone you are wanting to connect with that doesn’t know Christ, it would be a great time to have them over.

 

Benevolent Fund:  If you would like to give towards the benevolent fund please mark your giving accordingly.  Our benevolent fund helps families inside and outside the church in practical ways.

 

MEN’S MINISTRY Brian Parkin’s THE STORY Bible study is moving to Tuesday evenings at 8:30 pm.  See you Tuesday night.

 

iHope WOMEN’S MINISTRY--Bible Studies:  Wednesday morning Bible study facilitated by Jodi Brown, at 9:30 a.m. at the Fifth Corner.  They will be studying along with The STORY sermon series.  Come and join them!

 

Romans 5-8:  One Day experience on Saturday,

February 11th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  We will walk through these critical chapters in the Bible.  Cost is $7 per person to cover lunch.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

 

The Preschool Class meets in the lower level.  First grade - Fifth grade start upstairs and then are dismissed right before the sermon.

 

Children’s Ministry Opportunities:  If you are interested in helping with our Children’s Ministry please mark on your tear off card and put it in the offering plate.

 

YOUTH MINISTRY

 

NO FUSE ON SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 5TH

 

FUSE meets every Sunday Night from 6:00-7:30 p.m. during the school year unless otherwise noted.

 

FIFTH CORNER:   If you are interested in helping at the Fifth Corner this Fall, please mark you tear off card and put it in the offering plate.

 

Infant Room:  There is a room for infants right behind the Sound Booth for our moms and dads that need this area for their babies.  This is for babies that are not walking.  The worship service sound is piped into that room.
